The PDF is parsed by PDF.js — the same engine Firefox uses — and each page is painted onto a canvas at the resolution you choose.

- 3× is close to print quality and produces larger files.

Are fonts preserved?
The pages are rasterised, so text becomes pixels. It looks exactly like the PDF, but it is no longer selectable.
Why is my export slow?
High-resolution rendering of a long document is CPU work in your browser. Try 2× or a smaller page range.
Can I export several PDFs at once?
One PDF per run keeps memory predictable. Run it again for the next file.
