How merge pdf works
Each PDF is opened, its pages are copied in order into a new document, and the result is saved. Original page content is preserved — this is a structural copy, not a re-render.
- Reorder with the ↑ ↓ buttons before merging.
- Bookmarks and form fields from the source files are not carried over.
- Encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first.
FAQ
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are; images and text inside them are untouched.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then merge.
Is there a page limit?
No fixed limit. Very large documents are limited by your device memory.
