The short version
Your files are never uploaded. Conversion happens inside your browser. We do not receive, store, inspect or share the contents of anything you convert.
Files you convert
Every tool on ConvertFileHub uses browser APIs (Canvas, WebAssembly, FileReader) to read and transform files locally. No file bytes are transmitted to our servers, because the site has no endpoint that accepts them. When you close or reload the tab, the working data is discarded by your browser.
Information we do receive
Like any website, our hosting provider logs standard request data when a page is served: the requested URL, the time, a truncated IP address, the browser user agent and the referring page. This is used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic counts. It is not linked to any file you convert.
Local storage
The site stores one preference in your browser's local storage: your chosen light or dark theme. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Advertising
Ad slots on this site may be filled by third-party advertising networks. Those networks may use cookies or similar technologies to measure and personalise ads, subject to their own policies and to the consent rules that apply in your region. If no advertising partner is configured, the slots are removed from the page and no ad script loads.
You can limit ad personalisation through your browser settings, your device's ad settings, or industry opt-out tools. Blocking ads does not affect any tool on this site.
Cookies
We do not set first-party cookies. Third-party advertising or measurement scripts, where enabled, may set their own.
Children
The site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we do not hold personal data about you beyond ordinary server logs, there is usually nothing to export or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page will change with it. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
