Convert images to PNG, JPG or WebP
Drop your images, pick an output format and download. Batch friendly, with a quality slider and an optional max width for smaller files.
How image converter works
Every conversion happens on your own machine. The browser decodes the image into a canvas, re-encodes it in the format you picked and hands the bytes straight back to you — the file never touches a server.
- PNG is lossless with transparency, best for screenshots, logos and anything with text.
- JPG is the smallest for photographs but has no transparency.
- WebP usually beats JPG at the same quality and still supports transparency.
GIF and animated files are converted from their first frame; SVG is rasterised at its natural size or at your max width.
FAQ
Does converting reduce quality?
Only if you choose a lossy format. PNG is lossless; JPG and WebP use the quality slider you set, and 90% is visually identical for most photos.
Can I convert many images at once?
Yes. Drop a whole folder worth of files, convert them in one pass and download everything as a ZIP.
Is there an upload limit?
No server limit exists because nothing is uploaded. Very large images are bounded only by your device memory.
